Welcome To The Brave Classic World Of Ancient Greek Tragedy

Live your “classic” Ancient Myth in Athens

For the first time, in the heart of Athens, enjoy a theatrical performance of “Ancient Drama” with English and French overtitles. A unique experience that one may not be able to attend anywhere else in the world, but in the place where Drama and Theatre were born.

Now, “classic” lovers, “collectors” of travel experiences, romantics, or those who simply want to feel Greek culture, all share the “Greek experience” and spread the word of classics. At last, next to Acropolis, you can now have pictures of an Ancient Greek Drama performance!

Welcome To Greece

Athens is synonymous to the Acropolis, Philopappou, the Archeological museum, Plaka and Monastiraki. In order to prove that you visited Athens, you need a picture of the Parthenon!

But to some, Athens is the cultural capital of the Ancient world, synonymous to the “Classics”, all the Greek cultural heritage of philosophers, drama theater and poets of Greek Antiquity. The epic masterpieces of Sophocles, Aeschylus, Euripides, dating back to the 5th century B.C. are still taught all over the world.

Oedipus Rex

Oedipus Rex has been an archetypal play in the world classic literature for nearly 2,500 years. Long considered the greatest Greek tragedy, it has a sympathetic protagonist, a crushing climax, sublime poetry, and a wealth of meaningful themes. The play remains on the very short list of incomparably and undeniably great world literature masterpieces and is taught all over the world.
